Today is the 100th day of the one hundred day challenge and it certainly has been an interesting and somewhat chaotic 3 months. To put it simply April was easy, May was tough, June was easy again, and well July has been just working up to the end.
The most difficult thing really is consistency of training, there are simply too many distractions in life to guarantee a training session can be completed each day satisfactorily.
But having said that I managed to do something each day and most days I did quite well. If I was going to give myself a mark out ten, I would give myself a six or seven for effort, but with much improvement required yet. At least I've learned some ways to tackle the next one hundred day challenge more successfully. As with everything practice makes perfect!
Somethings are definitely better than three months ago however, for example my knees are feeling much stronger than before and my legs have visible muscles especially around the knees. My standing is a lot stronger and more stable than before, and some of my stretches are deeper than before. I've also learned something about my own kind of testosterone cycles and how to manage them a little.
Learning gongfu is not only about getting stronger, quicker and more capable as a fighter, but also about entering into a journey of self discovery; as my teacher says, "how can we understand others, if we cannot even understand ourselves; or how can we control others, if we cannot even control ourselves?" Doing a one hundred day challenge can bring some insight I believe.

congratulations!
Congratulations! I think you are right, the most difficult thing is consistency of training. I was following your progress and I am very happy that you stuck with it.
Can you tell us a little more about how you organized your daily training schedule?
Congratulations!

Congratulations!
Some day I should try the same...
There are always distractions and duties in life that break the pace of training...

Thanks for the support and interest guys.
There's no special secrets to how I organized my day, in fact the more I tried to pin down a schedule the less likely it seemed that I could stick to it. So I just tried to fit the Taijiquan around the days activities; trying to set aside a couple of hours a day [in one, two or even three sessions] to fit everything .
I'm not an advocate of the ten minutes a day theory, I believe to do something well, will always require substantially more than that.
Nice work. I'm gearing up for 45 (or 54) days of training beginning in October.
You've inspired.
Hi Steven, I'm glad that I've inspired you, but why 45 or 54 days?
I'm planning a new 100 day challenge, more on that later.
:-)
